In BSNL Presently available “Teracom” brand FWP (Fix Wire Phone) Instrument can be used for valuable customers e.g. (1) For migration of CDMA Customers etc. with facility of retaining same CDMA no. for I / C calls on new BSNL SIM by the ASEEM facility & technology available with BSNL only with six month charge of Rs. 99 / --(Excluding GST), i.e. Appx. Rs. 15/- Per month. (2) Where our landline is TNF. (3) To retain our customers where they are facing repeated fault due to U/G cable is weak. (4) For Senior citizens it is more comfortable & convenient to instead of Mobile handset. So these all may be approached.

   25/09/2018...  !!!!! For Kind Attention of ALL EXECUTIVES WORKING IN GJ CIRCLE. !!!!!
Comrades, Two Projects are funded by DoT i.e. OLT installation at BSNL Exchanges and Wi Fi Installation at Rural Exchanges are giving handsome revenue to BSNL every year.
For OLT installed at BSNL Exchanges, it is giving Rs. 3 Lakh Twenty Thousand(Rs.3,20,000/-) Infrastructure charges per annum per OLT by BBNL to BSNL. Bills are being centrally raised by Circle Office. Till date we have raised bill of Rs.8 crores from GJ circle out of which 3 Cr is recd also.
For Wi Fi Hot spot installations at Rural Exchanges , in addition to the Cost of Equipment installed we are getting 10% Centage( Profit on that cost) + every year Approx. 65000/- charges for bandwidth and infra charges. Till Date GJ circle has recd 13.75 Cr adhoc amount from USOF which we have to adjust against the claims raised to CCA GJ. Claims are also raised centrally by Circle Office.

Further as per the discussion we had with Circle Office, Now in 3rd phase of Wi Fi, all Rural Exchanges of GJ one wi fi HS will be installed. Equipments are expected by end of October and we have to commission those equipments by Nov 2018. Meaning to say, in addition to the existing revenue, all Rural Exchanges will earn Rs. approx. 65000/- per annum which definitely will take care for Electricity Charges as well as Proper Upkeep charges of Rural Exchanges

So Comrades, we request one and all that, In addition to the day to day work being done by us in the field, we also should concentrate on proper up keep and mtce of infrastructure of BBNL OLT and Wi Fi equipments also including Fiber connectivity.

"In order to bring back the disconnected/closed landline and broadband connections either due to non-payment or voluntary closed by the customers during the last 6 months, above has allowed to restore these Landline and Broadband connections under Plan 49 and Plan 249 for one month free of cost "

   06/09/2017...  >>>>> Launch of “My Offer” Facility by Hon’ble CGM Gujarat >>>>
Comrades, Hon’ble CGMT Gujarat has launched the service “My Offer” on 5/9/2017. This service will suggest the customer the best suitable plan as per the usage pattern of the customer. Customer has to type” My offer” and send it to 51505. All BSNL Fraternity should make effort to ensure that this service is known to all BSNL mobile customers. This facility is exclusively available to Mobile customers of BSNL GJ only.

At this juncture we congratulate our CMTS team of GJ who has developed the software ingenuously for the service.

   02/08/2017...  >>>>> Configuration of ADSL MODEMS in use in BSNL. >>>>>
Comrades, in recent past we have seen that our modem configuration was removed by Malware attack. Due to constant hardwork of field units situation is improving day by day and now as per the reports we have from BNG logins, approx 8-10 % customers are still to be reconfigured. We have taken screen shot of configuration of all modems in use in BSNL. This will help us to restolve the customer grievance immediately.

   28/07/2017...  >>>>>>> BSNL Broad band configuration Issue >>>>> Comrades, Since 26/07/2017 evening, BB functioning of customer is affected due to configuration disturbance in some customer ADSL Modems. Mostly these are of brands Syrma, Teracom , supernet etc. To resolve the matter, Please follow the procedure as per document given in the link below. Brief is highlighted as below.
(1) First HARDWARE RESET is required to be done to gain the access of the modem.
(2) Admin password is to be changed.
(3) PPPoE userid and password is to be entered.(Take from concern NIB Incharge or user id is available in Telephone Bill also)
(4) Enable ACL.
(5) Disable UPnP , Disable CWMP (if available)
(6) After doing all these, settings should be saved and restarted. It should work.
(7) Pl. follow all steps other wise problem may reoccurs.
(8) Pl change password of the modem also.

Further we are also discussing the matter with NOC Bangalore and Pune to resolve the issue centrally. But till such time let us concentrate on the above process.

Comrades, Let's request our JTO & Above Executives of External team that they should also discuss & brief all these steps to JEs / PMs / LMs / Out sourcing agencies who are actually involved in attending BB fault & modem Configuration. Printout of the above steps can also be given to LMs so that same can be given to customer also. Let us put efforts in all direction to meet this crisis time.

   18/02/2016...  >>>>> Allotment of control cards for BTS Mtce. >>>>> Comrades, we took up the issue of closure / shut down of BTS due to non-availability of control card for BTS mtce with Hon’ble CGMT vide letter NO: SNEA/Guj/15-16/12a15 dated: 07/12/2015(CMTS-CFA-IS). CMTS wing Circle office allotted control cards for 45 sites to 13 SSAs on 7/1/2016. All SSA CMTS wing should ensure that control cards so allotted are lifted and installed so that BTS is made up and running. (a)Now leave has to be applied in ESS portal. (b)Pay Slip of Individual is available in ESS portal. (c)Outdoor and indoor medical bills have to be submitted in ESS portal. After submitting in ESS portal original Vouchers should be sent to AO (Claim) of SSA.(d)GPF Advance will have to be applied in ESS portal. >>> Latest N ERP Update for S&D Module >>>>> (1) Regarding report on C Top up Sales done from CSC, consolidated day wise report is generated from N ERP.    19/08/2014...  >>> N ERP Update FICO Module >>>>> As conveyed earlier, SSA level Settlement Officers are designated by circle office. In case of any issue related to Temp.    19/08/2014...  >>> N ERP Update for S&D Module >>>>> Now SIM card selling has to be done in SancharSoft software. New procedure of transferring SIM card from Circle h/q to SSA h/q and from SSA h/q to CSC user should be followed. Due care should be taken by SSA h/q and CSC user that 19 digit SIM Number (In From and To location with in between “-“only) should be correctly entered while transferring SIM. In case of any mistake done by user, SMS will be sent to the user. On receipt of SMS corrective action should be taken by the user in consultation with SSA nodal person.
After Sale in Sanchar Soft, card will be debited from N ERP automatically after 24 hours. This has been tested and verified at Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Nadiad SSA.

In case of any issue in transferring SIM card from N ERP to Sancharsoft automatically Shri R J Shah SDE and Nodal Officer S&D Module Circle Office and Madam Rushvi Rajan JTO Sanchar Soft Circle Office ( Mail Id pv.cn8.gj@gmail.com) through SSA L1 team should be contacted.

It is further informed that we are in contact with Circle Office and BSNL h/q for generation of report in N ERP for C Top Up sell done from CSC to customers. Further update will be given after confirmation.

   16/07/2014...  N-ERP is implemented in our circle. Details of all Modules & Features available in the module is kept on http://10.197.216.213/newerp. Snapshot of all the activities in details can be seen on this portal. All field officers should use this facility to get acquainted with N-ERP. In case of any issue, Level-I Nodal Officer is to be contacted in SSA.

   22/05/2014...  Circle Office EB team has secured business of 20377 BB connection from Govt. Of Gujarat in Serva Siksha Abhiyan Project.
Out of this feasibility from all SSA is received for 5787 BB connections only as on 17/5/2014, which is less than 40 %. Each BB connection is giving us average revenue of more than 600 Rs.
Comrades all District Secretaries / Circle Office Bearers should make extensive efforts, held group meetings at SDCA level and ensure minimum 70 % feasibility.

   12/03/2013...  It is important to note that, since implementation of CDR in our Circle,essential queries & SQL-programs as prevailing in DOT-Soft, was / is not available in CDR. All these are vital requirement of field units, for avoiding duplication of work, quick assessment of pendency of work, effective monitoring and there by effectively improving day to day services for customer & better out put in terms of fact and figures.In this direction, SNEA (I) Gujarat has innovatively worked out many of such essential queries & SQL-programs and communicated to Hon’ble CGMT-Gujarat, further it was repeatedly discussed with Circle Office- IT wing. Accordingly Circle Office- IT wing had taken up all these points with IT- Circle Pune for granting necessary privilege to Circle, so that all these queries & SQL-programs can be implemented uniformly across the Circle. Ultimately many of these queries & SQL-programs are implemented, and still some are in pipe line and will be implemented shortly. Remaining which are beyond circle privilege are also under persuasion with IT- Circle Pune. Thus Apart from various Queries / reports available at Intermediate server / at http://10.193.215.8:7777/ Inter RepServer / MainRepAction.do and BI Report at http://wp44http4.wdc.bsnl.co.in:8103/irj/portal/, all these locally developed queries are uploaded at Gujarat Circle Intranet. We are thankful to Hon’ble CGMT-Gujarat and Circle Office- IT wing, for sincerely and vigorously implementing the matter.Now all concern field units are requested to understand and utilize these reports for better monitoring, efficiency and there by making further more result oriented efforts.    14/03/2012...  As per Letter No: SNEA/Guj/11-12/10a(I)11 dated: 10/10/2011, point 1(a) and 1(b) regarding repeat fault of BB and LL, matter was discussed with our Hon'ble CGM Gujarat and other senior officers. Hon'ble CGM took lot of pain and it was later decided that a detail discussion should be held with field officers for the procedure to be followed in rectification of fault such that repeat fault does not arise or are very less. It was further decided that seminars should be conducted for conveying this detail procedure.

In this regard, a seminar will be conducted by Sr.GM(NWO-CFA) Shri B.K.Sinha and Sr.GM(NWP-CFA) Shri R.C.Arya at Rajkot on 20th March 2012. This seminar will be very much helpful to all the field officers.

Our office bearers at Rajkot should invariably attend the same without fail. Further District secretary / other office bearers in saurashtra region should try their best to attend the same.
